Background[edit | edit source]

Memory Omega works completely in secret and its existence is generally only known only to certain people and operatives working in the outside world. As such, all of the agency's operations are covert. Many operatives were sleeper agents who had built lives for themselves, having acquired important professional positions that would allow them to gather necessary information to facilitate various objectives. For example, Duras, son of Ja'rod, a senior officer within the Klingon fleet accepted the commanding officer's position at a backwater outpost to provide himself with a cover for his activities as an operative of Omega. Additionally, many of the Vulcan slaves who worked as servants to highly placed officials of the Alliance manipulated them through telepathic contact when required.

Aliases[edit | edit source]

Most members of Memory Omega have several aliases, some have well over a hundred, none ever reveal their real name except to a small group of trusted individuals such as the Empress or close allies. Even than in some case their real name is so meaningless as to be worthless as a tool for the enemy as the agent in question has diversified so much into their other personas that in effect the original person they were is effectively dead.

Organization[edit | edit source]

The organization has numerous bases of operation hidden in various locations. All of the known bases had a wide array of functions from staging areas, scientific reasearch and acting as a colony to a diverse collection of humanoid races. At least one of these bases had a Genesis Cave type environment as part of it. Specifically, a self contained eco-system made possible by technology was integrated into the base; presumably to provide for everything from fresh oxygen and a means to grow food and house personnel.

History[edit | edit source]

Origins[edit | edit source]

Memory Omega was founded by Spock before the fall of the Terran Republic and the emergence of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance that took its place. In the beginning, it served mainly as a repository for the knowledge of the fallen republic. However, the long term plan determined by Spock prior to his death, set out a timetable, spanning a century, for the restoration of freedom. The timetable was carefully orchestrated to predict the forthcoming political and social events within the Alliance, allowing Memory Omega to covertly act to bring about a better society.

Gray Council[edit | edit source]

Memory Omega is supposedly lead by a inner council and a director however the true power behind Memory Omega is the Gray Council, lead by a group of individuals which are never seen or heard from in person, so secret is the Gray council that even the mainline memory omega itself isn't sure that the Gray Council even exists.
